Diana isn’t a pro when it comes to work life balance but she does her best.
She believes she is this way because her parents were the same way.
Therefore, Diana tries to make sense that she’s a lot like her parents when it comes to getting the balance she needs in her life. Just like her parents, Diana loves getting out of the Heating and Air Conditioning comfort of a lake house and getting out to nature. When she’s in nature, it seems to settle her and help Diana regain a perspective that is lacking due to the amount of work she does. Her parents purchased this property that also had a pretty rustic lake house on it. Over the decades, they have added on to that lake house but it’s still pretty basic. For heating, there was a wood stove that made the Winter time cozy up there. And just before her parents passed away, they got hooked up with electricity out there so they didn’t have to have kerosene lamps or any of that stuff. Last year, Diana made more upgrades in an effort to get everyone happy about going to the cottage. Comfort was the name of the game. She added appliances to the home office and satellite internet. One of the biggest hits was the ductless heat pumps Diana had set up in the lake house. She’s lucky enough to have buddies who are Heating and Air Conditioning professionals. They joined her for a long weekend and helped Diana set up the ductless heat pumps. She bought all the beer and food and they provided the Heating and Air Conditioning professional expertise. Now whenever it’s time for Diana to go find a bit of balance at the lake house, she has family members that are itching to go with.
