Kids have the wildest imaginations, don’t they? That is a single of the joys of raising them, is that I get to experience these unique plus original thoughts, and as people get older, they start to do plus say the things they are supposed to, but society teaches us what are the official beliefs to hold, plus all the people “go along to get along.” With young kids you get raw unfiltered ideas, things you might have never heard before! The other night our 4-year-old Elle told myself and others that she heard ghosts in the ceiling plus she was scared to sleep by herself.

I laid down with her, plus an hour later I heard the strange sounds she described! It wasn’t a ghost, though, it was an creature crawling through the ductwork.

This has happened to myself and others before, plus I suppose how much of a hassle it is to get a living creature out of the small confines of an HVAC duct ventilation system. The first thing I did was close off all the air vents, to keep it from wriggling into the house. I looked around outside the home until I saw the exterior HVAC duct shaft that had a broken corner. It was only a few inches wide, but this gap was an open door into the ductwork, plus I was lucky if there weren’t a lot more creatures in there! I put some food outside that broken gap in the ductwork, hoping the creature would leave our home to eat… No such luck! Now I have to call creature control plus an Heating & Air Conditioning dealer.

Last week, every one of us hosted our first lunch party in more than 5 years.

That’s how long it took us before every one of us opted to go to the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier to solve the indoor air issue every one of us had, man, it was so great to have everyone over and not have to be embarrassed by the air quality.

They explained that unless every one of us disaffixd the bacteria in the air that was causing the odors, every one of us were wasting our time. So every one of us invested in a whole apartment air cleaner. This thing particularly is awesome. It works inside the Heating and Air Conditioning unit so every one of us don’t have to transport it around the house. And it uses high intensity ultraviolet light to kill indoor air contaminants so there are no air filters to clean. The two of us couldn’t be happier to be opening our apartment up to friends again.
