They’re not so great when it comes to work-life balance

Chris and Cindy are not so great when it comes to work-life balance, but they’re trying.

They think they come by it naturally as their father was the same way.

So, Chris and Cindy think it makes sense that they’re a lot like their dad when it comes to getting the balance they need in their life. Just like their dad, they enjoy getting out of the Heating and Air Conditioning comfort of the cabin and getting out to nature. When they’re in nature, it seems to settle them and help them regain a perspective that is lacking due to the amount of labor they do. Chris and Cindy’s father obtained a piece of property that also had a pretty rustic cabin on it. Over the decades, they have added on to that chalet but it’s still pretty basic. For heating, there was a wood stove that made the Winter cozy up there. And just before their dad died, he got hooked up with electricity out there so they didn’t have to have kerosene lamps or any of that stuff. Recently, Chris and Cindy made more variations in an effort to get everyone excited about going to the cabin. Comfort was the name of the game, and they added appliances to the kitchen and satellite internet. However, one of the biggest hits was the ductless heat pumps they had installed in the chalet. Chris and Cindy are blessed enough to have a friend who had a Heating & Air Conditioning worker. She came out for a long weekend and helped them install the ductless heat pumps. Cindy and Chris obtained all the beer and food and she gave the Heating & Air Conditioning professional expertise. Now whenever it’s time for them to go find a bit of balance at the chalet, they have family members that are itching to go with.

Cabin sure is more comfortable with some good residential HVAC

I’m not so great when it comes to work life balance but I’m trying.

  • I guess I come by it naturally as my father was the same way.

I’m so happy to have the new heat pump in my home

When it comes to placing bets, I never get to win anything.

Taking chances and winning is just not my thing.

This is why when I chose to risk my warm season comfort on a central air unit that I had a feeling could fail, I still don’t get it. That was a loud reminder that I do not have the winning touch. See, I took that big gamble on that old central air unit and it sure failed me. I knew better than gambling on anything much less the quality heating and air of my house. This was during the warm season, so the heating wasn’t a priority. My Heating and A/C expert was out to do the central air tune up last Spring. This is when she told me that the central air unit was on its last leg. I did my best to pin her down on how much time I had left but of course she couldn’t be that particular. She let me know though once it broke, it couldn’t be fixed again. That was sensible and it would have been better to just substitute the heat pump. I had started saving for a Heating and A/C substitute years before. Unfortunately, that money got reallocated to other priorities. In order to save up, I opted to roll the dice on the old central air unit last summer. I did my best to lessen the load on the heat pump. I made it all the way to mid August before the thing gave out. The worst part of the whole thing was I had to wait a month and a half before I could get a new central air unit due to supply chain issues. I’m sure glad to have the new central air not have to risk that sort of Heating and A/C comfort again.

She knew better than gambling on anything

Belinda is sure she is not a gambler in any way.

She’s just not equipped with the skills for taking chances.

So why she opted to risk her summer time comfort on an AC that she knew could fail, Belinda still doesn’t understand. The whole experience was a reminder that she’s not built for gambling! Yet, Belinda took that big gamble on that aged AC and it failed. Belinda knew better than gambling on anything, much less the quality heating and air of her beach house. Since this was in the summer, the heating actually wasn’t the problem. Belinda’s HVAC specialist was out to do the AC tune up last Spring. This is when he told her that the AC was about to be done. Belinda did her best to press him for info on how much time she had left. But, of course he couldn’t be that particular. The HVAC specialist did tell her though once it broke, it couldn’t be fixed again. That was good to know and it would have made more sense to just upgrade the AC. Belinda had started saving for an HVAC upgrade years before, however, that money went to another emergency. In order to save money, Belinda opted to roll the dice on the aged heat pump last summer. She even did the best she could to reduce the load on the AC. Belinda made it all the way to early October before the thing gave out. Still she had to wait 14 days before her new HVAC device arrived due to supply chain issues. She’s so glad to have the new AC and not have to risk that sort of HVAC comfort again.

He still doesn’t understand why he took a risk with an old cooling unit

When it comes to placing bets, Bill doesn’t partake.

He’s just not built for taking chances.

So why he chose to risk his summertime comfort on a heat pump that he knew could fail, Bill still don’t understand. All that transpired reminded Bill that he does not have the nerves for gambling. Yet, he took that chance on that old heat pump and it sure did not meet his expectations. Bill knew better than gambling on anything, much less the quality heating and air of his lake house. Since it was summer, the heating wasn’t the issue. Bill’s Heating & A/C contractor was out to do the AC tune up last Springtime. This is when he told him that the heat pump was about to be done. Bill tried to find out more on how much time he had, but of course he could not be that certain. He did inform Bill though once it broke, it could not be fixed again. That was more sensible and it would have made more sense to just replace the heat pump. Bill had actually started saving for a Heating & A/C replacement years before. But that money got reassigned to other priorities. In order to save some more money, Bill chose to roll the dice on the old heat pump last summer. He even did the best he could to reduce the load on the heat pump. Bill made it all the way to mid September before the thing gave out. The worst part of the whole thing was he had to wait a whole month before he could get a new Heating & A/C unit due to supply chain troubles. Bill is sure blissful to have the new heat pump and not have to risk that sort of Heating & A/C comfort again.

We aren’t built for taking chances

When it comes to placing bets, we never want to wager.

We’re just not built for taking chances. So why we decided to risk our summer comfort on a heat pump that we knew could fail, we still don’t understand. That experience reminded us that we don’t have the nerves for gambling. Yet, we took that important gamble on that old heat pump and it sure was a failure. We knew better than gambling on anything much less the quality heating and air of our house. During summer, the heating entirely wasn’t the problem. Our Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman was out to do the cooling system tune up last Spring. This is when she told us that the heat pump was about to be done. We tried to pin her down on how much time we had left, however, she could not be that certain. She did tell us though once it broke, it could not be fixed again. That made a lot of sense and it would have made more sense to just update the heat pump. We had started saving for a Heating, Ventilation and A/C replacement years before. But that money got reallocated to other priorities. In order to save a bit more money, we decided to roll the dice on the old heat pump last summer. We even did the best we could to reduce the load on the heat pump. We made it all the way to mid October before things went horribly wrong. The worst part of the whole thing was we had to wait 4 weeks before we could get modern Heating, Ventilation and A/C units due to supply chain complications. We’re sure glad to have the modern heat pump and not have to risk that sort of Heating, Ventilation and A/C comfort again.

Gambled on an old heat pump this past summer

When it comes to placing bets, I’m generally not one to wager.

I’m sure glad to have the new heat pump and not have to risk that sort of HVAC comfort again.
