The type of commercial HVAC in our office was just that sort of catalyst for the drop in morale in our beat down office. This was mainly because we had a supervisor who wasn’t able to read the office almost immediately. Our former supervisor was not a cheerful person and was always putting us down. That sort of vibration did spread across the entire office. Folks were becoming defensive and we had so much attitude instead of finally working as a team. Thankfully, with our new supervisor, the variations have come fast and it’s like a current day. She wasn’t even here a month before she changed the entire commercial Heating & Air Conditioning situation. She had the Heating & Air Conditioning crew come in and completely update the commercial Heating & Air Conditioning in our office. All of us now have zone controlled Heating & Air Conditioning. That way, we can group our desks together by setting the thermostat setting. Therefore, those of us who need lots of Heating & Air Conditioning cooling in the summertime can group together. A few weeks into the house, we noticed that the oil furnace could have been more efficient because of the new home size. The rooms upstairs regularly seemed to be slightly colder than the rest of the house. We sought advice from the HVAC company downtown for a wonderful heating and cooling system to meet our needs. With the extensive growth of heating technology, we would have a particularly efficient unit, the radiant floors. The old dial temperature control also had to go, so we upgraded to an intelligent regulator. The HVAC professional told us they would use the same HVAC device we had, the only difference was the mechanism they used to help with indoor comfort. That meant the whole exercise would cost much less than purchasing a new quality heating device! Furnace filter upgradement and heat pump maintenance would continue with their proper schedule. The HVAC repairman taught us more about heating so that we could manage simple air conditioner care. It was the first of the numerous adventures that we would have in our new home.
