One For All Air Conditioning

I was living with my father-in-law, Russ, last summer.

He had successfully beat cancer, and I stayed with him and looked after him.

His diet was exact, and whenever I went shopping, I would always have a list. Russ and I have a great relationship. I see him as my father while he takes me as a daughter. He taught me how to swim, cook, and ride a motorcycle. Before returning from the hospital, I had scheduled an air conditioner tune-up to get the heat pump ready for him. Since he has diabetes, he constantly sweats because his body temperature is high. We ensured the cooling product was functioning optimally to counter this and keep him comfortable. I would go grocery shopping on Sundays. I got the list and headed to the market. It was a hot summer day, and I felt the heat the minute I stepped out of the house. As I ran around doing my errands, I was sweating like a pig. I got new air conditioning filters from the cooling technology store. The a/c rep at the air conditioning business illustrated how to change the filters, which was pretty straightforward. I finally went to the grocery store to get the groceries. When I entered the supermarket, indoor comfort and air quality blew me away. It was very cool in the supermarket and made me forget the heat outside. The cooling specialist who did our air conditioning repairs had done the air conditioning installation of the air conditioning unit at the supermarket. I knew this from the air conditioning expert sticker at one of the cooling equipment vents. These professionals did comprehend more about air conditioning. I took longer in the supermarket than I should have, but it was to enjoy the comfort of the unit.

• I used to think she loved seeing her grandchildren and me, but I recently discovered that she enjoys my air conditioning system’s great indoor comfort and air quality.

I work in the air conditioning business and thoroughly enjoy my job as a cooling specialist. Naturally, my cooling equipment is always optimally functioning and maintains good indoor comfort. I schedule the air conditioning tune-up and do the repairs myself to ensure my cooling product remains in good condition. Mum comes over at least four times a year and sometimes five. I don’t mind her over because I love having her over, and so do the kids. Last year as the globe was grappling with the effects of the pandemic, I had mum over, and since a lot of air conditioning experts were unavailable because a lot of businesses closed down, I would help out my neighbors with the air conditioning repairs. Since I am the only one in the neighborhood that knows more about air conditioning, I decided to lend a hand to my neighbors and fix their heat pumps. I got a couple of novice a/c reps who had been studying cooling technology in school before the schools closed for a while. The reps practices their practicals by helping me with the air conditioning installation and changing the air conditioning filters. Mum was impressed and proud of me for helping out. She would sit on the patio enjoying the indoor comfort as much as the heat was melting the outside away. I make a point of keeping mum’s unit functioning optimally, but she still prefers my place. I think the primary reason is that she enjoys being with her family.

I learned earlier in my career that being charismatic can take you places and have people do things for you or with you.

I have been an air conditioning expert in the air conditioning business for about eight years now, and I love it. During my first year, I took a customer service course that trained me to talk to customers while keeping in mind that they do not know more about air conditioning and might ask ridiculous questions about air conditioning systems and need careful explanations. The training has caused me to make friends with a lot of my customers, like Mama Anita. She owns a pie shop and makes some of the best pies I have ever had. I once took my a/c rep colleagues to the shop after a job, and they thoroughly enjoyed the pies. I met Mama Anita a couple of years ago when I did her air conditioning installation. We have been friends ever since, and she calls me whenever she needs help with her cooling equipment. She called me last week complaining that her heat pump was making some unusual noise that kept her awake at night. She also said the air quality differed from when I did the air conditioning tune-up several months ago. I scheduled air conditioning repairs, and we set off to her house. Dirty air conditioning filters were the cause of the unusual noise and the poor air quality. The cooling specialist got HEPA filters we installed for Mama Anita, who had no clue about the improving cooling technology taking over the industry. As was the custom for Mama Anita, she offered us pie and lemonade after we restored her cooling product. We chatted with her for a while before proceeding to the next job.

WhenEver someone mentioned the south, I always got sent into a morning dream. I’d visited the deep south a couple times but for some reason, it was sort of a dream of mine to live down there. I can’t say exactly why but it just was. Of course, that’s never more true than during the frigid Winter when I deal with a gas furnace that’s running all the time just so I do not freeze. So the idea of residing anywhere that I could finally get outside during the Winter weeks would be a good dream come true. My supplier ended up merging with a bizarre supplier from down south & I ended up relocating. It was absolutely a easily great deal as it was more money & another work achievement. Once I moved down here, the first thing I observed of course was the weather. When I arrived in the warmest season, I thought I was going to melt. The heat pump in our new house saved me. It’s the latest and greatest in Heating & A/C technology when it comes to residential Heating & A/C. It was such a lifesaving device during the first warm season. I need all that Heating & A/C cooling & more if I could have gotten it. But that sort of heat is easily only around for about four to 8 weeks. Once you hit October, the weather is just about perfect. The heater may kick on a little bit during the Winter to knock the chill out of the house in the morning. But that was about all the heating we needed. I am so thankful I finally got to live this dream because I just love it here.

 

 

Indoor comfort business

I have more than 2 neighbors & loads of friends.

But the easily close friends I have are few & rare to me.

My neighbor Bob is 1 of those people. Bob easily is a great person on every level. There are people out there who see Bob coming & try to take advantage. We’ve been friends since meeting in a commercial Heating & A/C office more than a year ago. Bob was absolutely 1 of the first people in our supplier to job remotely so he did not come in the commercial Heating & A/C office every morning. So when Bob did show up at work, I enjoyed to spend time with him. Bob’s so well regarded in our industry & also so willing to help others understand the finer points of what we do. Bob easily works to try to help everybody be better at their jobs. And Bob does it because he cares. The two of us hang out together outside of job & have gotten quite close over the years. He even invited me out to his chalet which is something that’s pretty rare. Bob lives way out on some property & just barely still on the electrical grid. The heating in Bob’s house comes from a wood stove & until recently there were no other residential Heating & A/C units. Bob is super technical & can put together or install just about anything. Bob ended up buying a pair of ductless heat pumps to go in his chalet. Not so much for the heating during the Winter months but for the air conditioning in the warm season. So I went with Bob for a long weekend & we were able to install the ductless heat pumps ourselves. I have to admit that I was amazed with the level of quality heating & air that comes with the ductless heat pumps.

I wish I could be better about controlling our emotions sometimes.

• Yet, I tend to get pretty defensive when I perceive disrespect when it deals with me or the family.

Apparently, this goes for my family home & our Heating & A/C components as well. It took us a long time, but our wife & I decided it was best to put the family house on sale. The local real estate market was just on fire & we couldn’t pass it up, considering that we had been discussing selling the place for a couple of years, this seems to be just the right time. The two of us called the realtor that was suggested to us to come out & list our place. She barely even said hello before she started ripping into our place. As I said, I can be a bit sensitive do any sort of attack or insult on anything I love. And I easily got very upset the longer she critiqued are home. And when she got to a Heating & A/C equipment I pushed back against her. As long as I have had this Heating & A/C equipment, I invested in plenty of Heating & A/C maintenance each year. The residential Heating & A/C wasn’t even 15 years old at the time. So there was plenty of juice left. I got absolutely pretty upset at the suggestion that we had to replace the Heating & A/C unit. And that pretty much ended her visit. The next time she returned she was much more respectful & she brought along data from recent comps in our section that proved her point. See also informed me of a program with the local Heating & A/C biz that would recycle our Heating & A/C equipment. It would go to people or local organizations that needed better Heating & A/C equipment but couldn’t afford it.

When you grow up down here, having A/C cooling is just a needed area of the picture.

I can’t remember a time in my life when I wasn’t able to count on quality air conditioning during our very brutal warm season.

Of course, we had used a heat pump to give it all the central air conditioning in our home. My dad was always proud to have the latest when it came to residential Heating & A/C. To this morning, Dad is still proud of his residential Heating & A/C although he lives in a little condo. Of course, he owns the latest in ductless heat pumps where he lives now. Those ductless heating pumps easily get the job done when it comes to cooling off his place. The two of us sat around in that great Heating & A/C cooling not too long ago having a laugh about how weird his father was… Grandfather would come to stay with us when I was little & he had a million stories. Granddad was 1 of the most entertaining people you could ever be around. My dad would even respond to some of the stuff that old man was saying. One thing our dad confirmed as true with the fact that our Granddad never had central air conditioning. In fact I do not suppose he had a residential Heating & A/C unit until he was in his 70s. But our Grandfather grew up on a ranch & was used to scheduling his life around the heat & humidity of warm season. I can still recall him preferring to go out on the porch to catch a breeze in the shade than rest in the central air conditioning of dad’s house.
