I have numerous acquaintances plus plenty of good friends.

But the definitely close friends I have are few plus rare to me.

My associate Sam is one of those people. Sam definitely is a great person on every level. There are people out there who see Sam coming plus try to take advantage. We’ve been friends since meeting in a commercial HVAC offices numerous years ago. Sam was actually one of the first people in our business to task remotely so he didn’t come into the commercial HVAC every morning. So when Sam did show up at work, I loved to spend time with him. Sam’s so expertiseable in our industry plus also so willing to help others understand the finer points of what both of us do. Sam definitely works to try to help everybody be better at their jobs. And Sam does it because he cares. Every one of us hang out together outside of the office plus have gotten definitely close over the years. He even invited myself and others out to his lodge which is something that’s pretty rare. Sam lives way out on some property plus just barely still on the electrical grid. The heating in Sam’s condo comes from a wood stove plus until recently there was no other a residential HVAC. Sam is super technical plus can put together or install just about anything. Sam ended up buying a pair of ductless heat pumps to go in his lodge. Not so much for the heat in the Winter but for the a/c in the summer. So I went with Sam for a long weekend plus both of us were able to install the ductless heat pumps ourselves. I have to say that I was definitely amazed with the sort of high quality heating plus air that comes with the ductless heater.

I wish that I was better about controlling my emotions at times.

Yet, I tend to get pretty defensive when I perceive any kind of disrespect towards myself and others or our family.

Apparently, this applies to the family beach condo plus our HVAC component as well. It took us a very long time, but our spouse Bob plus I decided it was best to put the family beach condo up for sale. The real estate market was just brilliant so both of us could not pass it up, but considering that Bob and I had been talking about selling the beach condo for years, this seems love just the right time. Bob called the realtor that was advised to us to come out plus list our house. She barely even said hi before she started ripping into our site. Like I said, I can be a bit sensitive about any sort of attack or insult on anything I love. And I definitely got miserable the longer she critiqued the home. And when she got to a HVAC component I pushed back. As long as I have had this HVAC system, I invested in plenty of HVAC service every single year. The residential HVAC wasn’t even ten years old at the time. So there was plenty of life left. I got actually pretty irritated at the suggestion that Bob and I had to update the HVAC unit. And that pretty much ended her visit. The subsequent time she came back she was much more respectful plus she brought along data from sales in our space that proved her point. See also informed myself and others of a program with a local HVAC business that would recycle our HVAC equipment. It would go to people or non-profit organizations that needed better HVAC components but could not afford them.

When you grow up around here, HVAC and cooling is just space of the picture.

I can’t remember a time when I couldn’t count on proper a/c while I was in our brutal heat plus humidity of summer.

Of course, both of us had a heating pump to supply all of the central a/c in our home. My dad was identifiable ly proud to regularly have the newest when it came to residential HVAC. To this morning, he is proud of his residential HVAC system, however he lives in a little condo. Of course, he has the latest and greatest in ductless heat pumps where he lives now. Those ductless heat pumps definitely get the job finished when it comes to cooling off his site. Every one of us were resting around in that great HVAC and cooling not too long ago having a laugh about how his father was, grandpa would come over to stay with us when I was little plus he had a million stories. Grandpa was one of the funniest and most entertaining people you could ever be around. My dad would even chime in to some of the stuff that her old man was saying. One thing our dad confirmed was the fact that our Grandpa never had central a/c. In fact I don’t guess he had residential HVAC at all until he was 69. But our Grandpa grew up on a farm plus was used to scheduling his life around the heat plus humidity of the summer months. I can still remember him preferring to go out on the porch to catch a cool breeze in the shade than rest inside the central a/c of our dad’s house.

But after the COVID pandemic hit, I learned just how important indoor air quality is to our health.

I haven’t actually asked Bob even though I imagine that our spouse would still shake her head about me and how stubborn I was about HVAC updates. I was just plain dumb when it came to what a mighty difference air purification could make in our lives. Actually, I’m sort of surprised Bob doesn’t hammer myself and others daily on that one. Yet, I just wasn’t that wild about spending many thousands of dollars on a whole beach condo air purification system. Air purification does a whole lot more than simply get rid of indoor air troubles. What ultimately got myself and Bob behind the decision to install a whole beach condo air purification plan was getting educated. Initially, Bob started talking about air purification in order to get rid of an indoor air problem. Both Bob plus I had tried every sort of solution when it came to making the condo smell better. Bob and I got a few moments of masking the smells but that was about it. Bob and I found out about the whole beachside condo air purification plan while I was in a lunch get-together at a friend’s. But the steep retail cost of that air purification system made myself and others pump the brakes. I’m feeling very blessed to be able to own a pretty large chunk of property. Having grown up in an apartment in the town with radiant heating plus zero a/c, this was regularly our dream. But I never thought I could have this much space. I’m able to transfer around without having to accommodate neighbors or other folks I don’t know. It’s such a charming situation for me. But having a nice big condo with great residential HVAC can still be plenty of work. There’s not a lot of time for resting in my recliner enjoying the HVAC cooling. Although these days, I most absolutely make time to catch a breath in the a/c. I have plenty to keep myself and others going, but just mowing the shrubs plus keeping up the property is plenty to keep myself and others busy. So I’m acting like I’m a farmer these days plus getting up at first crack of sunrise. But by 10 o’clock in the morning, I can be pretty worn out. So I do get inside the a/c to cool off plus hydrate. It takes myself and others that long in life to definitely understand how important hydration is. So taking a break inside the HVAC cooling plus getting our water is important. And speaking of proper moisture, the heat pump takes care of the moisture level in our house. That’s right, the heat pump does more than just providing the HVAC cooling I love. The a/c process is also balancing out the humidity levels at the same time. That adjustable heat pump is doing so much for us plus both of us don’t even know. Without that a/c process, I would have a whole lot of mold plus mildew to clean. And as I said, I have plenty to keep myself and others busy.

The older I get, the more I start to see patterns coming sort of full circle when it comes to life.

There seems to be just 1 large circle cycling through our life.

So numerous old things are abruptly new again. This is identifiable and true when it comes to our HVAC heating method. Recently, Max and I just built a brand new condo that has one floor plus just several bedrooms. We’re both 69 years old (nice) so it’s time to simplify as much as both of us can. Our new beach condo was a custom built job that both of us helped to design. And both of us chose a geothermal heat pump for our heating plus cooling needs. This style of HVAC component actually uses the near constant temperature of the planet in order to extract energy for heating plus cooling. It’s quite fascinating as far as a heating plus cooling component goes. The other nice thing is that it lasts for up to 40 years. So this heat pump will be the last one both of us have to put in… Max plus I also love the sustainability aspect as it’s just about the most efficient residential HVAC. However, it’s the central HVAC heating that definitely blows our mind. With the geothermal heat pump, heating energy is transferred through radiant floor heating. That comes from a copper pipe underneath the flooring. It takes myself and others back to when I was a little kid plus would visit our Grandparents. They had a giant water boiler in the basement that gave radiant heating throughout the house. It was the coziest heater I have ever experienced. And now all these years later, I’m experiencing that same kind of cozy radiant heating once again. Like I said, it just seems love circles over plus over through our life.

The idea that I’d finally fall in love with a woman plus marry her seemed unlikely at best.

When I told our mom, I was afraid it our shock her too much as she’s now almost 76 years old.

I’m in our mid fifties plus finally taking the plunge for the first time. There was plenty of shock from our colleagues inside the commercial HVAC company as well. Nobody ever believed I would actually get married. I’m not sure exactly why that is given that I have had pretty dire besties. I never felt close enough to any of them to consider marrying them. But after that I met Max plus getting married seemed love the most natural thing to do. Every one of us happened to be the exact same age plus actually met a long time ago. Max and I worked for rival companies plus would love the same commercial HVAC work conferences now plus again. It’s not that both of us were colleagues sharing the same HVAC in the same office but both of us knew each other from business. Max and I also attended some of the same social events. However, over all these years, Max didn’t get close until recently. And now we’re buying a condo together plus choosing a new residential HVAC system. It’s definitely cool to be able to be a first time married guy on a new site. The new HVAC components are putting out just the best quality heating plus air both of us could have ever asked for. And residing with Max has also seemed love the most natural thing to do. Max and I even have the same sort of heating plus cooling needs. So there is no fighting or need for compromise when dealing with the HVAC temperature control setting.
