My mum enjoys going to see me.
I used to assume she loved seeing her grandchildren and me, however I recently discovered that she enjoys my a/c’s great indoor comfort and air quality.
I labor in the a/c contractor and thoroughly appreciate my task as a cooling specialist, but naturally, my cooling unit is always optimally functioning and maintains good indoor comfort. I schedule the a/c tune-up and do the repairs myself to ensure my cooling product remains in good condition, but mum comes over at least more than 2 times a year and occasionally multiple. I don’t mind her over because I appreciate having her over, and so do the kids! Last year as the globe was grappling with the effects of the pandemic, I had mum over, and since a lot of a/c experts were unavailable because a lot of businesses closed down, I would help out my neighbors with the a/c repairs. Since I am the only a single in the town that knows more about a/c, I decided to lend a hand to my neighbors and repair their heat pumps. I got a couple of novice cooling system reps who had been studying cooling technology in university before the universitys closed for a while. The reps practices their practicals by helping me with the a/c upgrade and increasing the a/c filters. Mum was impressed and proud of me for helping out. She would kneel on the patio enjoying the indoor comfort as much as the heat was melting the outside away. I make a point of keeping mum’s unit functioning optimally, however she still prefers my place. I assume the primary reason is that she enjoys being with her family.
