I had an HVAC tune up on Friday afternoon.
The young HVAC technician that provided the service was talking about going to a club later that night.
I certainly didn’t expect to see the HVAC technician later that evening, but I ran into the young guy at the club. I was with a group of my friends and he was with a younger group of his friends. I did not say anything to the technician. My friends and I left the club around 2:00 in the morning and we went straight to a diner. The place has the best waffles, pancakes, and crispy bacon. They are one of a handful of places that are open overnight and my friends and I usually go to this particular place. I ran into the HVAC technician again in the diner. He was standing in line and waiting for a table when I came through the door with my friends. The guy immediately recognized me and he asked if I was the same person that he had helped earlier that day with an HVAC tune-up. I didn’t expect the repair guy to recognize me, because it was the first time that I used that particular service. There was a coupon in the paper and I saved 20% off because I was a first-time customer. The repair technician performed a full-service tune-up including changing the air filter and cleaning all of the air vents and I didn’t even have to pay $100. It was a pretty good deal compared to prices from other local competitors.
