Winter just always shows up unexpectedly for me around here.
I always think that I have more time before the cold weather actually comes.
And so before it gets too much colder around here, I am going to have to get a new furnace for my house. The old furnace that I’ve had in this house has really been going downhill for the last couple of years. I just don’t know if it will ever make it through another winter if I try to use it again. Honestly, I would rather get the furnace fixed right now before the temperature starts cooling down more. I don’t want to wait until we have snow all over the ground. Some people put off making big purchases like this around the holidays, but I figure I might as well go ahead and do it right now. If I’m going to be in debt, I might as well go ahead and do it. There is no sense in waiting around. I’m not really sure what kind of furnace I want to get, but I would rather get it done at a time when I have some control over the situation. At least I don’t want to have to purchase a furnace when the weather is freezing cold outside and it’s an emergency situation. That would be terrible. If I get the furnace right now, we can live without heat for a little bit because we are about another month or so away from the deep freeze that usually comes around here where we live. I think that right now would be the perfect time to purchase a new heating system and get it installed correctly.
