I guess where I work would be considered a beach loft office.
I mean, this arena is at our address and on our property! But our beach loft office isn’t really inside the central air conditioning of our home.
I tried that and it just failed miserably… So that’s why I chose to go with this sort of beach loft office instead, but of course, like so several other folks, I was sent beach loft from the commercial Heating and A/C of the office during the pandemic, but that’s when I first tried laboring remotely from our own air conditioning. It was not a fantastic experience by any measure. I was constantly trying to find an amount of privacy in order to focus on our work. When I worked inside the zone controlled Heating and A/C of the office, I was often interrupted by our colleagues during our work day… However, I was able to find extended periods of time during the day to really focus in on our work. This was not at all the case when I was laboring from home. The Summer of 2020 was the most uncomfortable I had ever experienced at work. Initially, I had been laboring from wherever I could find a surface that was clear for myself and others to spread out a bit and dive into our work, however quite often, I worked under the Heating and A/C air vent at the bedroom table. But of course, with our kids and our fiance at beach loft with myself and others that summer, I got very little accomplished. So that is why I ended up putting this prefabricated building in the backyard. It’s only a 10 by 12 foot space but it’s perfect for a beach loft office. Once I got electrical run to our new beach loft office, I called the Heating and A/C company, and they put in a ductless heat pump for residential Heating and A/C.
