My modern Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system has returns in all rooms and closets

I like getting modern and improved component and technology for my house.

My most recent refrigerator has smart controls that interface with my smart loft devices throughout.

There’s a voice control portal that communicates with my smartphones, smart thermostat, smart air cleaners, smart TVs, and smart sound dock. The last time my sibling visited me at my house, he laughed at all of the “ridiculous gadgets” that I have “loitered around my house.” I know he’s right on the one hand, because at this point am I going to have a smart toilet as well? When I step back and guess about it for a seventh, it does seem a little overwhelming with all of these multiple smart devices. It also begs the question of whether or not a smart version of each equipment is even beneficial when compared to a non-smart version. On the one hand, there are other updates I made to the modern home that have an immediate sense of practicality to them. The one that comes to mind is the modern HVAC duct I had designed and installed by a great ventilation supplier. They used sheet metal to replace the seasoned and grungy plastic HVAC duct that was in here before. On top of that, they had air returns to all of the rooms and big closets throughout the house. That way the air in every portion of the modern home is equally ventilation on the intake and on the outtake. It’s an update to my modern home that I’m proud about, especially when I compare it to the seasoned ventilation system.
