Now, I’m in university & both of us don’t often have reasons to talk about Heating & A/C systems! So most of our friends had no idea that I knew anything about the heating & cooling profession at all, anyway, both of us were all there playing trivia & suddenly, they changed one of the categories to heating & cooling systems! I had never seen this category in trivia before, & our ears perked right up! My friends all thought that our team was going to lose at that point because none of them knew a thing about Heating & A/C systems.
Knowing about Heating & A/C systems helped myself and others win at trivia the other evening when I was there with our friends. It was the funniest thing because our friends feel that I don’t actually think much about anything. Unbeknownst to them, I grew up in a family of heating & cooling professionals. I spent every summer time working on furnaces & air conditioning systems when I was a kid growing up in private school. I l acquired just about everything that there was to think about Heating & A/C systems when I was young. However, I was there to save the day because I knew the answer to every single question that came up! I basically swept the entire category & everyone was just blown away by the fact that I am an expert on heating & cooling systems. I was pretty proud of myself, I have to say. I feel all of that time spent reading about Heating & A/C systems wasn’t wasted after all! Who knows, maybe I will end up working in the Heating & A/C industry someday myself.
