After twenty years in the same house, I have decided to move. I’m not getting any younger, and our dentist said that the climate in the southern states would be fine for me. It will not be easy to transfer so far away, however on the other hand I have an empty nest! My husband passed away, the youngsters all moved out for school, or just to get their own places, so I am here alone, but perhaps if I transfer to a apartment right on the sandy beach it will supply our life a jump-start… Luckily I don’t need to worry about work, because demand for experienced Heating and Air Conditioning techs is typically in high demand. After doing a quick bit of online research I found half a dozen Heating and Air Conditioning dealers that are actively seeking current techs. A certified Heating and Air Conditioning tech can write his own ticket in some places, heating and Air Conditioning certification is done on a national level with the same certified tests. That means the Heating and Air Conditioning certification exam is the same in Florida as it is in Alaska, NY, or California. If you are like me and have your Heating and Air Conditioning certification you can start applying for tasks anywhere in the country! I know having a house overlooking the beach would be amazing, and I should be able to afford it with as much as these Heating and Air Conditioning dealers are offering, but very soon I will make the move, I just want to have a current Heating and Air Conditioning position locked down before I sell this house; Once I get settled in I will share some pictures of our current place.
