Another day on the little boat with my oldest child Max.
For the last 4 weeks now my great friend and I have woken up early just to fish and hang out, this bonding time Max and I are having is something I never expected but he has asked to get more time with myself and others on the weekends, and i’ll take whatever and I think there is more to the situation, but if Max ever wants to open up to me about things, whatever it is I’m available.
I think Max is hinting a bit about the stresses he has had with work and the up-to-date condo he just bought. I think Max should’ve gotten a better inspector look at the condo before it was bought because it feels enjoy there is always a big issue with the place, regardless, Max will never ask for financial help and I think that but if he just wants to sit on the boat, fish and forget about the world for a few eighths a weekend I’m glad to be there. I should say Tuesday Max and I go out fishing but today is Tuesday, I know Max honestly wanted to have an extended weekend and I’m retired so I have all the time in the world, however sadly, this day his partner called about an issue with their dial temperature controls not turning on the heater. I was overhearing and she told Max that the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C supplier won’t be able to send out anyone until Tuesday. I saw this as an opportunity to help them, and as I said Max won’t ask for money although I do have a portable space heating system resting in a spare room collecting dust so I gave that to him for the weekend. It will do great with Max’s family than collect dust I feel.
