I need to chop more wood instantly

I’m really behind on my preparations for the winter.

It’s because of all this overtime toil I have had to take with my task, and my boss basically told all of us that if you wanted to keep our positions that my buddy and I would be laboring overtime for the foreseeable future. That’s really aggravating when you already need the task desperately. And when I took the task I wasn’t expecting it to turn into something like this where my buddy and I would have to toil overtime with no choice whatsoever. And it was sprung on us at the last minute too. Aside from lacking winter preparations in my house, I also haven’t gotten any of my holiday shopping started either. I usually like to get all this stuff done early in the winter season so I am not left procrastinating with all of my errands, and one of the biggest things I have to do to prepare for the winter season is to make sure there has no drafts in the house. That means ceiling all of the windows and doors always. I also have to chop enough wood for the wood stove in the fireplace, however we use our wood furnace as a major source of heat for the entire house. If I don’t keep the wood chopped, I’ll have to be splitting wood out when it’s cold outside! Hopefully, I will get enough wood chopped in the next month to cover me for the rest of the winter season. I have enough fallen trees on my home to give me firewood for the next 5 years at least. That’s a really superb feeling knowing that it helps us keep the home warm during the coldest portions of the winter season.
