I’m already dreading the fact that I will have no air conditioning this Summer when we have our family reunion.
We have the same reunion every year in the same place, but this year the family wants to hold the reunion at this park that we have never met at before.
I like to be outdoors as much as the next person, but we have the reunion during the hottest part of the summer. Around here where we live, the weather starts heating up in May and then by the end of June there’s a virtual heatwave. I dislike being too hot and I know that by the end of June when they have the reunion, the temperature outside is going to be in the high nineties. That is actually not something that I am looking forward to, that’s for sure. I dislike being too hot and I know that they will not try to get portable air conditioning systems to put out around the picnic shelters where we will be eating and celebrating. I just don’t know if I am going to be able to handle it to tell you the truth. I just don’t understand why in the world the powers that be assume that it was a good idea to change the place of the family reunion after all this time. I assume that my good aunt is just a little bit deranged doing it this way. I’m afraid that no one is going to have a good time at the reunion this year because there isn’t going to be any air con.
