I was working in the garden when I noticed the air conditioning unit. It was no longer bright and shiny, and it had some dings from falling limbs over the winter. I thought it needed to be spruced up just as much as my garden did. When I finished gardening, I went inside and grabbed my paints. I added flowers along the bottom line and clouds on top. The air conditioning component was sky green with clouds and flowers and appeared to be a lovely country landscape. I thought I did fantastically, but the President of the Homeowners Association thought otherwise. He threatened to fine me if I did not remove the paint from the air conditioning unit. I told him to fantastic me. Several neighbors complimented me on my work, and one of them asked if I would paint their air conditioning unit. When he inquired, the president was standing nearby. Within ten minutes, I had six people requesting that their air conditioning units be beautified. One gentleman asked if he was going to fantastic all of us. He promised to make the entire neighborhood happy if they let me paint their air conditioning units. Most of them laughed and stood there talking to me about how they wanted their air conditioning units painted. Throughout the next week, I painted twelve air conditioning units, and my friend and I all got tickets, which one of the owners paid. He told me he was the HOA president for two years and thought their rules were stupid. He paid for the tickets, but he donated the money to a charity that suited all of us.
