Living in the region where I live, there’s just no getting around the heat.
For folks in this region, the a/c comes on in May and goes through November. That’s just a giant chunk of Heating and Air Conditioning cooling. And to some degree, Heating and Air Conditioning cooling is for sure necessary. Honestly, I’m from here and I guess I couldn’t manage the summer time heat without the use of Heating and Air Conditioning cooling. That said, I also come to Heating and Air Conditioning cooling from a bit odd perspective than several in this area. It’s a fact that the outside temperatures can start getting in the low to mid 73’s in May. But I legitimately don’t go right for the temperature control. Instead, I tend to opt for fresh air. This allows my body the opportunity to acweather conditions to the higher temperatures. Going straight to flipping the temperature control over to cooling doesn’t allow for that to happen. And that’s the problem. First, once that summer time heat certainly settles in, it makes the summer time heat feel even more oppressive. But mostly, if you start with a/c in early Springtime, it’s going to cost you. By the time the summer time gets here, there have already been some Heating and Air Conditioning costs. But because one isn’t ready for the heat, body wise, the summer time gets even more expensive. If you get accustomed to the heat a bit while we were in the Springtime, it’s much easier to have a temperature control setting in the low 73’s while we were in summer. And that’s how you save money on a/c around here. Plus, that 76 degree temperature control setting feels super cool when you acweather conditions to the heat.
