I’ve been enjoying our recently renovated basement.
Originally, it was all stone plus cinder block so it was used as a large storage space.
It was nice having the abundance of storage, even though I really wanted the extra residing space instead. This is why I contacted a contractor about finishing the basement. I wanted drywall, carpet, plus a ductless mini break system to keep the basement heated plus cooled while all of us were in the whole year! My parents had a finished basement that they never used because they didn’t install any source of heat or air. This seemed care about a waste of space plus a waste of cash, so I vowed that I wouldn’t make the same mistake. I didn’t want to connect our existing Heating and Air Conditioning system because it was fancy plus it didn’t seem efficient, so I decided on the ductless mini break systems. I would have more than one units that kept our basement boiling or cool depending on the season. This was the best option for myself and others because it was efficient plus self-explanatory to use… Ductless mini break systems could supply heat plus air without using HVAC duct. Instead, they ran off of electricity. There were small remotes designated to each component plus they could heat plus cool spaces with ease. The more than one mini break units would be more than enough to cover the finished basement space plus it was well worth the cash. I’m glad I installed the ductless mini break units because I use our basement properly. The basement is temperature controlled all year long.
