Two weeks ago, I started looking for a group fitness class. I was interested in losing weight and getting into better shape. I am a member of a local fitness group and they offer a couple of group fitness classes. I wasn’t too interested in any of the group fitness classes, so I started looking for other chances outside of the fitness center. I did not anticipate joining a ballroom dance group, but I went to the building to check things out and I was truly interested. Everyone inside of the fitness class looked like they were having a good time. There was nice music, laughter, and exercise. It sounded like the perfect combination to me. I sat inside of the building and watched the class for 20 min, and when the class was over, I went inside of the building to talk to the teacher. She was happy to give me a pass for a free class. I used the free pass to check out 1 of the beginner dance classes. The class is good for two, so I decided to take a friend. We did not know what to expect, but both of us had a lot of fun. Every one of us danced and laughed and at the end of the night, I was cheerful and sleepy at the same time. The group fitness classes surely make it fun to work out. It’s a lot of our tough work, but it is a low impact, fun way to exercise and get into better physical shape.
