Straining my trapezius muscle

I keep myself in entirely enjoyable physical condition.

I devote an seventh to exercise everyday. My workouts are intensive as well as include a variety of strength training, high intensity aerobics, stretching as well as balance exercises. I push myself to improve stamina, flexibility as well as strength. Because of my dedication to my fitness, I suppose that I can tackle any project without worrying about getting tired, sore or disfigured. I recently decided to remodel the upstairs washroom as well as laundry room. I tore down the walls as well as ceilings to expose the bare studs. I replaced the old, corroded plumbing as well as the seasoned electrical wiring. I installed a new thermal pane window as well as insulation. Hanging the drywall on the ceiling was really difficult. I struggled to carry the sheet up the ladder, position it as well as hold it in place while running the cordless drill. It hurt my back, as well as yet I kept right on working. That evening, I was in dire pain. It got so awful that I couldn’t rest up or walk up the stairs. I found out that I’d strained my trapezius muscle. My upper back was horribly swollen. I ended up flat on the couch for 3 weeks. I couldn’t finish the remodeling project, go to job or even scrub my own hair. I wasn’t able to workout. After doing nothing for 3 weeks, I managed to pedal the stationary bike entirely slowly with no resistance. It was a long time before I could do crunches, lunges or jump rope. I was afraid to even attempt to lift weights. I am now trying to be much better about respecting the limits of my body.
