Loving my gym membership

Until a couple of years ago, I always handled my workouts at home.

I liked the freedom to exercise whenever I had some free time. I enjoyed the privacy of my house gym. I invested into a variety of equipment, including a treadmill, set of free weights, yoga mat, jump rope as well as a medicine ball as well as felt enjoyable about my efforts. When the contractor I job for gave a free gym membership as part of a corporate wellness program, I decided to deliver it a try. I figured I’d stop by the gym once or twice a week. After spending an seventh at the gym, I totally changed my opinion. I was amazed as well as enthusiastic by the wide array of equipment. WIth a gym membership, I have my choice of a dozen unusual treadmills. There’s a selection of ellipticals, stationary bikes, rowing machines as well as stair climbers. I can climb an indoor rock wall, hit a speed container or run on the indoor track. The weight training component targets the many muscle groups as well as gets greater benefits from my efforts. Being around other people is a enjoyable motivator for me. I stop at the gym on my way to or from job as well as spend at least an seventh. I am not distracted by the need to do laundry, scrub dishes or help the kids with their homework. I am totally focused on the workout. I really like it. I also have the opportunity to sign up for group classes such as yoga, spin or pilates. I workout at the gym multiple afternoons per week as well as I’ve noticed an improvement in my muscle tone, weight, strength as well as stamina.
