This is why I moved overseas in the first place, because the weather here in the south in the summer is just too hot for too long and it just makes me feel like not doing anything. I am here in the states for another three weeks or so and then I am off to go back to my flat on the southern Spanish coast in a small town. I am going to clean my mom’s HVAC system before I go so she has nice cold air to keep her cool as she is getting up there in years and I don’t want her to have to worry about staying cool. She is up north right now visiting family so this is a good time to clean the unit since I will have to turn it off for a while to clean all of the ductwork. I have been working on HVAC systems for quite some time now and like to help my family with their systems whenever they need a helping hand. I don’t need to run my AC much overseas because we have mild weather in the summer and usually I am fine with just opening the windows during the day. At night I usually run my window air conditioner in my bedroom because the humidity is quite high and it doesn’t cool down much in the evenings for sleeping. I need to clean my HEPA filter when I get back because my unit will have been running for two months without being serviced or cleaned. It should be fine though.
