I took an Uber downtown yesterday and I met some friends at the club! Both of us hung out, drank some beers, and listened to music! I didn’t entirely meet anyone interesting and I had to labor the next morning, so I went home. I contacted another Uber to take me back to the house, but the same person did not show up to opening me up. That didn’t surprise me, because there are hundreds of different Uber drivers in the city. The person that picked me up had the heat on in her car even though it was 68° outside, then she looked prefer she was cold, although I was warm and uncomfortable. I told the person that I thought it was honestly warm and I asked if she would mind turning off the heat. She offered me a look, although she did turn the heating system off. I rolled my window down a small amount to get rid of the muggy and sticky atmosphere. The driver looked at me and asked if I would roll up the window because she was honestly cold. I didn’t talk to the person the rest of the time about the temperature. I just wanted to get back to my condo in one piece. I was a little drunk, so maybe the temperature concerns were all on me, however either way, I didn’t want to cause a big scene or some kind of commotion, but as soon as I got back to my house, I adjusted the temperature control on my A/C to make it a little bit cooler in the condo for the rest of the evening.
