Most of my friends live in apartments, even though I decided to buy a tiny home a few months ago! I knew there had to be a way for myself and others to live in an affordable housing situation separate from living with my Dad plus dad.
The tiny home was my path to autonomy.
I live in a small community outside of city that has other identifiable homes. One woman has a yurt plus another woman lives in a shipping basket home. There are several people appreciate myself and others that live in tiny homes, however my home is 300 square feet plus I use every inch of space. I have shelves under my bed plus pockets to hang things on the walls. I have a undoubtedly small kitchenette, because I do most of my cooking on the flat top grill outside. I have a small porch with an overhang to keep myself and others dry in the rain. I have my grill outside, so I don’t odor up the home with smells of bacon plus pork! Having the grill outside also keeps the indoor temperatures at a low level. My tiny home is an affordable living solution. I spend money a small fee each month to live in the community plus I paid money for my tiny home. I have undoubtedly few bills each month plus that means that I have a lot more freedom. I only have to spend about $680 every month for my housing allowance plus several of my friends have to spend at least twice that amount. I am happy to deliver up all of the extra plus unnecessary space to live life more simply plus with less complications.
