I was so happy that I had a portable air conditioning system hanging around my house.
My central heating and cooling system was not working right and it was very hot outside.
I needed some relief to get proper air conditioning in the house. So with this portable air conditioner that I had I was able to get whatever room I was in cool as it should be while I awaited the heat and a/c company to have an HVAC appointment opening. They were pretty booked up. So it was going to be a few days before someone could come out to repair my central heating and air conditioning system. If I did not have this wonderful portable air conditioning system I would have most likely needed to go to a hotel for a few days. So by having the portable air conditioner I was able to save a few hundred bucks or more by not having to go to a hotel. It is really amazing how powerful portable air conditioning systems are today. They are more or less just as powerful as portable space heaters and can cool an entire room in a matter of minutes depending on where you set the thermostat that is on it. I had bought this portable air conditioning system when it was on sale just to have it in the event of some kind of heat and a/c system emergency. And that day finally came when my central heating and air conditioning system broke down and this portable a/c was there to give good relief from the hot weather.
