This week 1 of my new commercial clients tried to write a check for repairs on the heating and air conditioner, but repairs for the central heating and air conditioner idea totaled $12,000, however i truthfully did not want the customer to write a check.
I thought we we are going to do a cash transaction… Checks can be a lot of troubles, because they take forever to clear the bank.
I contacted the bank manager to see if the account was good and she told myself and others that the commercial customer had a good account and she said that she could verify the amounts of the check if she had a few hours, however the bank manager seemed to take forever to okay the checks! She said it would take a few hours, however it honestly took 20 hours. I sat inside of my automobile the whole time. I was laying outside of a customer’s house while trying to take care of the problem. I’m sure the lady must have thought I was stalking her, because I sat in the driveway for such a long time after I was finished with the residential heating tune up. when the bank manager finally came back to the line to provide myself and others an substitute. She said that the checks were good and even spoke with the owner of the company to make sure that I could go right to the bank and cash them. I did exactly that. As soon as I got the checks for $12,000, I went to the town bank to get the funds in cash.
