When Mike got deployed , I had a whole lot of time on my hands, military life is not the most exciting thing in the world when you are a military fiance, then i lived on the base, hanging around with the other wives and wifes whose fiances were also deployed , however both of us played a lot of cards and other games, but still had a lot of spare time on our hands.
- It was my bestie July that came up with the method of starting a small company on the base; July already had her Heating and A/C certification, although she said I could labor as her assistant if I needed a way to pass the time and make a little money.
July had a contract with the base to handle minor air conditioner and heating repairs for the military fiances and families. There were numerous hundred residences on the base, and all of them needed minor Heating and A/C labor done at some point. Mostly the people I was with and I handled general Heating and A/C inspections and tune-ups, with some air filter updatements and coolant refills as well, and all I did was drive the van and carry the tools, while July handled all of the real Heating and A/C work. July kept asking me if I wanted to get my own Heating and A/C certification and start making more money, even though I always declined. I appreciated this labor mostly because I got to talk to a lot of people, and drive around the base, even though I didn’t want to study Heating and A/C maintenance as a job. Besides, when Mike returns beach house the people I was with and I will be transferring to a current base.
