I’m really behind on my preparations for the winter.

• It’s because of all this overtime work I have had to take with my job.

My boss basically told all of us that if you wanted to keep our positions that my associate and I would be toiling overtime for the foreseeable future. And when I took the job I wasn’t expecting it to turn into something like this where my associate and I would have to work overtime with no choice whatsoever. And it was sprung on us at the last minute too. Aside from lacking winter preparations in my house, I also have not gotten any of my holiday shopping started either. I usually like to get all this stuff done early in the winter season so I am not left procrastinating with all of my errands, and one of the biggest things I have to do to prepare for the winter season is to make sure there has no drafts in the house. That means ceiling all of the windows as well as doors respectfully. I also have to split enough wood for the wood stove in the fireplace. My associate and I use our wood heating system as a major source of heat for the entire house. If I do not keep the wood chopped, I willhave to be tearing wood out when it’s cold outside, then hopefully, I will get enough wood chopped in the next month to cover me for the rest of the winter season. I have enough fallen trees on my house to provide me firewood for the next 5 years at least. That’s a really enjoyable feeling knowing that it helps us keep the house warm during the coldest portions of the winter season.

I don’t mind paying money to take care of things I own, and for sure, I do my best to transport away from living a disposable lifestyle, however i see this sort of approach all too often and it makes me sort of sick.

This Springtime was a lot better for my respiratory health than any other year that I can remember. And that’s saying something because I tend to have a cherish don’t care for relationship with Springtime. I cherish the fact that the gas heating system is done with heating plus the hot plus cold temperatures are attractive. And I cherish the fact that Springtime is all about rebirth plus blooming plant life. But with all that modern yellow comes the yellow stuff that can make life difficult for me. I’m referring to the pollen. When the tree plus grass pollen levels are entirely high, I tend to suffer a bit just resting around in my house. There is some sort of air cleaner at work that provides just the best indoor air quality, but yet, I entirely couldn’t afford to go with air purification, perhaps someday when I am making the sort of salary that puts me on the floors of the office with zone controlled Heating & Air Conditioning. But as I’m still in a cubicle plus getting my experience, I don’t quite have that important yearly paycheck just yet. However, that didn’t stop me from greatly improving my indoor air quality plus my respiratory health. All I had to do was replace the air filter for the Heating & Air Conditioning equipment, then since I’ve been a homeowner, I have always used the cheapest of air filters. But with the HEPA filter, I’m now entirely getting cleaner air as stuff like pollen plus other airborne contaminants are trapped plus detached. I didn’t suffer at all from seasonal allergies inside my apartment this past Springtime. And all it cost me was the update to the HEPA filter.
