I bought my house at the beginning of the summer season.
- I was really excited about the view from the backyard.
I could see all of the hillside and half of the mountain. The house is on an acre of land and I have a fence surrounding the whole property. I found the house at an auction and I happened to be the only person bidding on the piece of land. I got the plot for a steal and basically ended up with the property and the house for the price of the back taxes. I was only living in that house for a couple of weeks before there was a major storm. The storm caused a lot of damage in the area and my house was spared. It rained and rained for several days and I started to see several brown stains appearing inside of my house. Eventually those brown stains started to leak. There were several areas throughout my home where I had to put a bucket under the leak because there was a problem in the roof. I did not realize that I was going to need an entire roof replacement when I purchased the house at auction. I didn’t know a lot about the property and I thought that I would be just fine without an inspection. After the problems with the leaky roof, I decided to call someone to look at the rest of the property. I also called a roofing replacement company near me. I had hopes of fixing one or two leaks, but I knew that it was more likely that the entire roof needed to be replaced and that was going to be a job that required more than one person.
