My partner works as an Heating and A/C specialist, which means he spends a lot of time outside.
And while working outside he is consistently impacted by all the elements, however it could be weather, an pet or flying critters, he is consistently dealing with something, but he has encountered snakes, birdies, plus other pets near Heating and A/C equipment.
He is used to it and it’s just a part of the task for him, but while he has dealt with greater pets it’s the flying insects that scares him the most. He is deathly afraid of wasps and bees, and he refuses to work on any unit that has these critters around. He was called to perform a repair once and when he arrived, he observed a pressing wasp nest near the Heating and A/C unit. The owner was too afraid to remove the wasp nest and wanted our partner to remove it before he performed the service, and unfortunately, our partner was not able to oblige, however and for superb reason because he’s allergic to the stings of wasps and bees, however so, he has to be super careful when around these insects because it could be a life or death situation for him… Of course, he carries epinephrine with him just in case he does get stung, but he can’t risk placing himself in a situation that increases his chances of encountering bees or wasps. Every one of us live in a warmer climate, so both of us are used to seeing bees and wasps and our partner knows to stay calm and not to swat at them when they are flying around. That is a threat to the bees and wasps and would be more prone to attack.
