I saw an HVAC technician wandering aimlessly up and down our street. I went out and sat on the porch to see if he was lost, or if he was looking for something. When he got close to my driveway, I asked him if he was looking for someone or something? He showed me the address they had written on the paper and said he couldn’t find it. He was supposed to be at the address two hours ago, but he couldn’t find it. When he told me their furnace was broken, I looked at the address again. I didn’t think they had an address like that on this side of town, and told he may want N. Pfahler St, and Pfahler St. I suggested he call the HVAC company and get more information. He said he had the cell phone number for the customer, but no one was answering. I put the phone number in my phone and tried to call. The number went right to voice mail, and either the phone battery had died, or I turned it off. After calling the HVAC company, they told him it was N. Pfahler St. and they had given him the wrong number. He said he was a new HVAC technician, and so far, he didn’t like his job. I told him that once he got the right customer and learned the area a bit more; I was sure he would love the job. Not all people are nasty, and the HVAC company was good. I had used them for the last twenty years, and I didn’t have a single complaint.
