None of weeks ago, we won a boombox contest from a local boombox station.
- They were doing one of those contests where they were going to provide a prize to the15th caller, & we just happened to be the right number.
I could not suppose it when we got through to the DJ because any other time that I have ever tried to call into a boombox station to win anything, I could never get through it all. All I ever got before was a tied up signal, however for some reason, this time it easily worked out for us. When they answered & said that we were the 15th caller, I did not suppose our ears! The reason that we were so excited to get through was because of the prize that they were giving away, see, a local heating & cooling company was doing a large advertising push on the boombox station for that entire week. They were advertising their a/c tune up specials & so in order to get their name out there, they gave to supply a large prize for the boombox station in return for advertising. The large prize that they were offering with their brand up-to-date high efficiency heating & cooling system. My hubby & I were in the market for a up-to-date HVAC idea because ours had just broken down on us. Every one of us knew that we were going to have to spend thoUnited Statesnds of dollars on replacing it, so we were absolutely quick on the draw whenever they asked for callers to call into the station.
