It's lucky living in a region with mild weather

The region I grew up in was known for its extreme weather; Not only were my buddy and I living in the north where it would get ridiculously cold for 6 months of the year, however my buddy and I also got a ton of dangerous tornadoes as well… People feel that only the plains states are the ones that get all of the tornadoes, however that’s a major misconception.

In fact, there was an F5 tornado last year that almost wiped out a superb section of my hometown.

It managed to miss several citys and instead went into the countryside and destroyed some Farmers fields and some woods. Aside from all the crazy tornadoes over here, this region is also known for its extremely cold temperatures, every year my buddy and I would get temperatures that would drop down to 30 degrees below zero. It’s hard to survive in temperatures like this when you need to go outside and brave the cold air. We had two different heaters back then in case one of them broke down. Not having a supplemental furnace could lead to dying in a dire situation. I feel lucky that I live in a much more mild weather conditions nowadays. I don’t have to worry about needing two different heaters because it never gets down below zero degrees… Rented, my buddy and I need our cooling system always, however my buddy and I don’t use a boiler nearly as much as I did when I was growing up. Our cooling system is a lot less necessary than it used to be when my buddy and I were having week long heat waves throughout the summer time as well.
