They say you should change your air filter every single month. I am talking about the air filter to your central heating and air conditioning system. However for me this does not happen and sometimes I have to suffer with some bad air quality in my home. This is because in this house that I rent the air filter is very hard to change! They have it in the ceiling which makes it so I have to get a ladder in order to even change the thing. And this is just too much work. So sometimes I can go 4 to 6 months without changing the air filter of the central heating and air conditioning system. I have been renting this house for about 5 years now. One year I did not change the air filter of the central heating and air conditioning system for almost a whole year! I was lucky the central heat and a/c unit didn’t break on me. If it did I would have just called the property management and they would have to pay for the HVAC repair. That’s what they get for not having something done about this air filter placement! I really do not feel like getting up a ladder all the time just to change the air filter of the central heating and air conditioning system. I plan to move out of here in about 6 months anyhow. Hopefully the next place I get will be better with the air filter placement.
