What encouraged me most was that there are some heating dealerships willing to ship or give any appliances you need to your doorstep. Since I was offgrid most times, this came in handy because I could just call on any HVAC repairman to take me through concern shooting any issue I might have. The best thing about van residing was the fact that I did not have to spend money on power bills as my associate and I know it. Being off grid, I did not have to worry about boiler repair, hydronic heating, official HVAC repair or even heater/heater replacement. A number of people felt totally cheated because their heating systems were failing but no help ws coming forth. The heating company tasked with servicing the dwelling said the delay was attributed to delayed contract renewal. They also simply mentioned they suggested a new and better hybrid furnace to increase efficiency. Once that was out the way, they would definitely service things around.
