I should have learned a long time ago, that it is not a good idea to delay something that you need to do.
I know they say that you shouldn’t wait for tomorrow, what you can do today, but my mindset is the exact opposite.
I had a habit of waiting, and waiting, and waiting, until sometimes disaster struck. Well, I did it again, and this time I have a feeling it is going to cost me quite a bit of money. Why? Well, it is because of my heating and air conditioning system. I know that every year you are supposed to get your heating and air conditioning machine looked at by a professional HVAC worker. Well, even though I knew this. I could be a bit reluctant to actually do so. So oftentimes I would wait and wait, and then never actually make the appointment. I was basically going to do that again this year, I would tell myself to make the appointment, and then never get around to actually doing it. I guess my heating and cooling machine had had enough, because with a loud noise, it suddenly stopped working. I knew this was a bad sign, and I decided that there was enough waiting, and so I called the HVAC corporation close to me. Unfortunately, I wasn’t the only one with this problem, and since it was the middle of the summer, everyone was calling about their broken air conditioners. What a mess! The cooling tech said it was going to take 3 weeks just to come to my place! I am really wishing I took better care of my cooling device now.
