In certain parts of my home, there have been some cold spots… My roommate instantly jumped to the conclusion that my friend and I were haunted.
But I was highly doubting that.
I wouldn’t be upset about ghosts unless stuff started moving on its own. While I think in ghosts, I wanted to look for a more rational explanation. I didn’t think it was entirely something wrong with my dial control unit, because it seemed to labor fine, and testing my heating system system and a/c device seemed to labor fine as well. This left me baffled, what else could it be? After a little research, I figured it entirely could be the air duct, but that was something I would let a certified heating and cooling specialist handle. There is no way I was going to mess with the air ducts of my house. There was an independent Heating as well as A/C business in our area, and I contacted him to see if he had some free time for later, but he did, and so I had an appointment busy for later today. When he arrived, he took a brief look at the air duct and confirmed what I had suspected. Yes, the air duct had some holes and tears in it, and so it would need to be patched up. The heating and cooling repairman was able to patch everything up, and when I went to pay him, he entirely refused and told me he enjoys to periodically do some repairs for free. I was shocked! I told him he now has a permanent customer, and I thanked him a ton.
