I never thought what would happen to the fish if my associate and I didn’t have a/c, however i thought they would be fine, because they don’t have constant uneven temperatures in the wild. I woke up one morning, & the a/c wasn’t working; The water in my fish tank had risen to 85 degrees, & there was a large kill off of my fish. I had two fish left out of eight. I wasn’t sure if it was the tepid water, or just something wrong in the fish tank, but I was aggravated. I called the Heating & A/C company & told them my fish were dead, & I had no a/c. I had to have a/c, or I would lose my last two fish. The woman on the iphone asked me if I was all right. If the fish tank had warmed up so high the fish had died, I could be suffering from heat stroke or something else that could be worse. I had a headache, but I wasn’t sick. I just wanted an Heating & A/C serviceman to come to the home & service the a/c unit. I’m not sure if it was a hysterical plea to keep my last two fish healthy! Maybe she reacted as she did because she thought I was suffering from the heat… She told me she would send an Heating & A/C tech to the home instantly. I didn’t realize I would need to pay extra for an emergency Heating & A/C call until I saw the bill. They had my a/c running again, & my home was comfortable, and as far as the fish goes; the furnace had malfunctioned, & all of my fish were electrocuted, & it had nothing to do with the temperature in the fish tank, or the a/c.
