He said he had parts in the HVAC service van.

When my HVAC technician was at the house, he told me we needed to have the air conditioning repaired.

We already knew that, but we wanted to know what was wrong with it.

He explained about the fan motor, and how it had seized, which was why we had diminished airflow, and less air conditioning. I thanked him for the explanation and asked him when he could have the parts. He said he had parts in the HVAC service van. He just had to make sure they were the right parts for my air conditioning unit. He headed out to the service van, and was gone for almost fifteen minutes. He told us the parts we needed weren’t in the service van, and he was talking to the people at the HVAC company, to see if they had the parts in stock. He was going to head to the HVAC company and pick up what we needed. All we had to do was sit tight and he would be back in an hour. My husband stopped the tech and told him we had dinner plans and asked if he could come back the next day? After apologizing for his assumption we would stick around and wait for him, he called the HVAC company again. He had to get a time when they had an opening for him to return the next day and do the repair on our air conditioning unit. It ended up with us going back and forth trying to find a time that would work for all of us. He ended up telling he would come and make the repair after his last service call.
