Every afternoon when all of the businesses shut down for the day, traffic is an absolute nightmare, around 4:00, the roads are packed with people plus it is impossible to go anywhere abruptly, however downtown is of course the worst arena to be in the afternoon, then everyone is leaving the buildings plus heading toward the interstate, it’s best to be heading in the opposite direction while in this time of the day, yesterday I had a furnace maintenance job at 5:00 in the afternoon.
It was my last job of the day plus I was already on the other side of town.
I knew that I was going to barely make it to the job, even if I moved abruptly. I got onto the interstate plus traffic was moving abruptly until an accident occurred. When the accident occurred, traffic slowed down to a crawl. I was stuck a half mile behind the area where the accident was located. It took almost an hour for the crews to clean things up plus half of that time I was sitting there waiting. The lady for the furnace maintenance was worried plus worried that I did not get to her residence until 5:30, however there was nothing that I could do about the traffic plus the accident. I did my best to make it to the appointment on time; Hopefully the traffic will not be this awful once they get the modern lanes of traffic finished, however right now my pal and I have 3 east plus 3 west bound lanes, however at the start of the year, my pal and I will have five on each side.
