I didn't call a repair guy

I informed him that I had never called a heating and A/C specialist out, and I didn’t have any appointment with any local heating and air conditioner business

What happens when someone calls you on the cellphone and it’s a wrong number, well if you are like me you tell them they got the wrong number and then I transfer on. What happens if somebody gets the wrong number in real life? Well then the situation is a little bit different. This is what happened to me today, I basically had a real life equivalent of a wrong number, however i had someone show up at my door at like 7:00 in the afternoon. I had woken up to some easily loud knocking on my door and I swiftly came down the stairs to see what all the commotion was about. When I got to the door I saw that it was a heating and air conditioner repairman and he was sitting out beside my apartment with a toolbox in hand like he was ready to just walk right in and start working on my heating and cooling system! When I opened the door he attempted to walk inside my apartment and start working on my heating A/C system, although I didn’t know him and I had never called a heating and I A/C worker so I jammed him and asked him what he thought he was doing. He told me he was here to repair the heating and A/C system. I informed him that I had never called a heating and A/C specialist out, and I didn’t have any appointment with any local heating and air conditioner business. He didn’t post and evaluated the address that he had been given and realized he had the wrong house. I apologized before leaving. I am happy that he was a legitimate Heating and cooling specialist, because it always worries me that some people might try to get into your apartment by pretending to be an Heating and A/C worker.
