What happens when someone calls you on the phone and it’s a wrong number, well if you are like me you tell them they got the wrong number and then I transfer on.
What happens if somebody gets the wrong number in real life? Well then the situation is a little bit different.
This is what happened to me today, I basically had a real life equivalent of a wrong number, i had someone show up at my door at like 7:00 in the day. I had woken up to some particularly loud knocking on my door and I hastily came down the stairs to see what all the commotion was about. When I got to the door I saw that it was a heating as well as air conditioning repairman and he was sitting out beside my loft with a toolbox in hand like he was ready to just walk right in and start working on my heating and cooling system! When I opened the door he attempted to walk inside my loft and start working on my heating AC system, but I didn’t know him and I had never called a heating and I cooling system worker so I blocked him and asked him what he thought he was doing. He told me he was here to service the heating and AC system. I informed him that I had never called a heating and AC specialist out, and I didn’t have any appointment with any local heating as well as air conditioning business. He didn’t post and checked the address that he had been given and realized he had the wrong house. I apologized before leaving. I’m blissful that he was a honest Heating and cooling specialist, because it constantly worries me that some people might try to get into your loft by pretending to be an Heating and A/C worker.
