The people I was with and I all need a split from time to time.
Sometimes longer than others.
This was the case for myself and others with my HVAC business. I am an independent heat and a/c corporation who has been working non stop for the last 6 years separate from any kind of trip. This was something that was finally getting to me. So as a result of all this I finally decided enough was enough and it was time to take a nice long 2 month trip. I put everything on hold and closed my independent HVAC dealer for this amount of time and I took a cruise ship trip with my wifey for the 2 weeks. It was no nice not even thinking about heating or air conditioning. To be honorableI was totally burned out on it all. I nearly was so burnt out I thought about getting another work and closing the HVAC dealer for good! However I knew that would not be a wise plan because this is my work and what I put so much time and effort into building. It was just that a long 2 month long overdue split was needed and I needed to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle all together. After the 2 month trip on the cruise I reopened my independent HVAC dealer and all was back to dealer as usual. I fell right back into it and felt refreshed with no feelings of wanting to quit. The long trip was just what I needed.
