I swear to God, I have somehow become a recruiter at my business.
This is not the task that I ever signed up for plus I do not feel as though I am qualified in any way to continually supply young labor workers to our warehouse.
However, it seems like my associate and I simply cannot keep anyone emplotted out in the production space. Therefore, my associate and I keep hiring current people to take on the task so that my associate and I can keep business chugging along. I tried talking to my boss about this unfortunate employment problem, despite the fact that he does not want to deal with it. I am quite sure that the issue is our central cooling system plus nobody wants to hear that my associate and I have a important Heating plus A/C expense lying ahead of us. You see, when I was first hired here the wareapartment had a giant commercial a/c machine that effectively kept the production floor at a fair temperature. I wouldn’t say it if the indoor air was crisp plus cool, but it felt much better than standing in the sun outside. These afternoons, my associate and I do not have an operable heating plus cooling system stationed out in the warehouse. When the giant commercial AC machine broke down last year, my boss said that he would worry about the cooling system damage before Summer rolled around again. Well, our Summer season came plus the professional Heating plus A/C repairman never did. For the past various months there has been entirely no air quality control out in the wareapartment space plus I feel that it’s creating employee burnout at an increasing rate as the Summer heat plus humidity kicks into gear. Our current hires are only lasting a week or two before they quit the sweltering environment plus my associate and I have to find replacements. I know it’s not what my boss wants to hear, but my associate and I very need to get a current AC machine rather than current workers every week.
