Disappointed with breakfast out & the lack of fantastic heating & cooling

It was evident as soon as my associate and I walked through the door of this steakhouse that my partner & I had been dying to try.

  • The commercial HVAC was either overwhelmed or not even turned on.

Of course, my associate and I live in a region where the heat & humidity can be intense identifiably during the summer. But my associate and I went to this steakhouse in September when the hot & cold temperatures were much more reasonable. September hot & cold temperatures can still be quite overheated so there is still some demand for air conditioner. But that really goes double for a steakhouse, given the outside temperature & the fact that there are all kinds of sizzling surfaces in a commercial study room, one would guess HVAC would be a priority. The steakhouse itself was nice enough inside & had a nice little particular quality to it. The maintenance seemed fantastic & attentive for as long as my associate and I were there. My partner & I looked at each other pretty quick after being seated at our table. My buddy and I were both thinking the same thing which was where was the air conditioner. The waiter came by & took our drink orders & really that is as far as my associate and I got. My partner & I finished our cocktails & asked for the check. It stuns me that a place a business does not invest in quality commercial HVAC. I know my associate and I will not be going back there. And that’s such a shame because my associate and I honestly appreciate dining out. And my associate and I always make a point of going to locally owned steakhouses, however we’d much rather give our money to a small business owner than a giant corporation. But if they can’t get the air conditioner right, I’m not sure that they are ready to be doing business.
