You only live once.
That is a saying that I first heard from our seasoned guy appreciate 50 something years ago.
It’s now sort of a motto for a particular mindset. And honestly, for the first time in our life, I particularly understand just what that means. Perhaps toiling away inside the zone controlled Heating, Ventilation, and A/C of some highrise office is the perfect reality. I’m so not judging those who live that life. But for me, I just had enough already. By the time I was 52, I had that corner office with the temperature control. That was particularly something for me. Having our own temperature control in our office was appreciate I had arrived. But that was particularly sort of sad. All that work, energy and sacrifice so I could have a bunch of stuff and a temperature control in our office? Finally, I could no longer live appreciate that as just going to labor inside that zone controlled Heating, Ventilation, and A/C was all I could do. But I knew that if I was going to do what I wanted to do, it’d come with a lot of fluctuations. I had been out of our marriage for about 5 years and the dating thing just wasn’t for me. So when I quit our task, it was not so taxing to turn loose of all the other stuff. I upgraded the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device in our house and sold it for a bundle. I got rid of most everything else as well. I purchased a truck with a camper top and a trailer. That would be home. I was able to find the tiniest ductless heat pump for our heating and cooling inside the truck. And I just travel and write about our experiences. Beats the zone controlled Heating, Ventilation, and A/C of the office.
