Last year when my spouse and I were building our home, we got to choose nearly every detail ourselves.
Sometimes, it was overwhelming. We both felt as if there were just too many choices out there and sometimes we just did not know how to make them. At one point, the two of us had to choose our heating and cooling system. We had both grown up with a regular old furnace and a/c combination, which is the most common of all heating and cooling methods. However, there seems to be several new options now. This left us feeling very unsure of what heating and cooling system would be the best one for us. Every one of us did a little research to see the pros and cons of the oil furnace and air conditioner combination. Some of the benefits of this system include getting high efficiency for an affordable cost, plus a really affordable installation cost. They are also the cheapest kind of all. Plus there are many kinds of brands and features to choose from. But this type of heating and cooling would require ductwork, which is another thing we’ve have to pay to get installed into the home. There is a risk of carbon monoxide leaks when you use a natural gas oil furnace, too. Finally, the air from an oil furnace may produce less comfortable heat during the winter. But after weighing these options, my spouse and I decided to go with the oil furnace and the air conditioner combination. We have loved this type of HVAC unit throughout our lives thus far.
