I’m trying to get into better physical condition, so I can run a 5K with my gal.
She wants to run the race for charity and I truly want to show her that I support her.
She told me that the race doesn’t matter, but I think down deep that it does. I have been going to the gym more than two times each week. That’s more than two times more than I was going in the past. I started off with some loose weights and running on the pavement. One of the sales clerks asked if I wanted more knowledge about working with a personal trainer. I genuinely thought it would cost extra, although I got to work with a personal trainer for free, my fitness center membership covered 1 free personal trainer class each. I also paid for one more class. I got a discount, because I was already a member. The personal fitness teacher taught me some enjoyable breathing tactics to help increase our breathing strength. One afternoon during the month both of us work on the upper body and the other afternoon both of us work on the lower body. On the off days that I do not meet with Nick, I work on cardio. So far, the results have been amazing. I’ve already lost 13 pounds, and our stamina has gone up. I can now run 2 miles without stopping. In another week, I will be ready to run 3.1. I think my gal is impressed with the effort I have put in, and that means the world to me. I just want her to think that I am there to support all of her hopes and wishes.
