I am convinced that I live in a house of crazy people. This is because all of my family members have very strange temperature preferences and of course, they are not even close to one another. What I mean by this is my dad, sister, then brother all have greatly different temperature preferences. My dad and sister like cooler temperatures, and while even their temperatures aren’t the same they like to have it around 70 to 75 degrees in the house. In my mind, they’re close to normal. My brother is the crazy one. He likes to keep the heater running honestly at a temperature of 90 degrees. 90 degrees! But that is not the craziest part, the craziest part is that he doesn’t even sweat! He tells me he doesn’t feel hot at all and that to him his 90 is the equivalent to our 70. That is just not normal and I seriously wonder if there’s something wrong with his body. As you might imagine this is causing a lot of arguments over the temperature and so my dad decided to settle the problem once and for all by going down to the local heating and AC business and buying a zone controlled HVAC system. A thermostat with zone control will allow us to control the temperature on the thermostat individually in each room. This way everybody can have their preferred temperature because they each have their own custom temperature in their room and this will help resolve the arguing.
